Women's soccer kicks it's way to the Sydney stage!
The Wolves follows nine teenage girls--members of an indoor soccer team--as they warm up, engage in banter and one-upmanship, and fight battles big and small with one another and themselves. As the teammates warm up in sync, a symphony of overlapping dialogue spills out their concerns, including menstruation (pads or tampons?), "Is Coach well?," eating disorders, sexual pressure, the new girl, and the Khmer Rouge (what it is, how to pronounce it, and do they need to know about it--"We don't do genocides 'til senior year.")

By season's and play's end, amidst the wins and losses, rivalries and tragedies, they are warriors tested and ready--they are The Wolves. A Finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, The Wolves is a portrait of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for nine girls who just want to score some goals.

Rising Arts Productions is excited to be bringing this play to Wollongong off the back of the excitement of the Matilda's success at the World Cup and look forward to an exiting piece of female-led theatre.

CELEBRATING 300 YEARS OF BACH in Sydney
Bach Akademie Australia ends a stellar year of early music-making with a heavenly, imperial and imperious program – three splendid concerts in three spectacular venues – featuring 20 instrumentalists and 16 singers.

2023 has brought an opportunity to celebrate the 300th anniversary of one of the greatest events in musical history: J.S. Bach’s appointment as Thomaskantor in Leipzig. As a result, a new era in music history began.
For the next 27 years, the requirements of his appointment combined with his deep faith and desire to encourage faith in all others, inspired Bach to produce music of such staggering beauty, complexity and profundity that it changed the course of music forever.

Savor delicious treats at Mrs Claus’ Bakery, and create special take-home crafts with our cheeky elves! Enjoy an array of activities and interactive experiences, carnival games, kids rides, and so much more – everything that makes this season truly special.

DON’T MISS out on this amazing family event! You’ll be able to experience the magic of Christmas in our interactive walkthrough under the big top tent, where you can see, hear, touch, and smell all the wonders of the season.

The film starts with a freak accident, where Gus, Sophie and Max of the Andromeda Galactic Bureau of Investigation (AGBI) and their microscopically minuscule rust-bucket of a spaceship, The Rusty Nail, take up residence inside 14-year-old Norman’s brain. They can see what he can see and hear what he can hear. The nanosized crime fighting aliens must enlist Norman’s help to save Earth from Zolthard, an evil intergalactic villain who is now stuck in the school principal’s head.

Norman, his friends, and the aliens must go to great lengths to conceal the presence of alien life at their high school, while they try to continue the galactic struggle between good and evil. After all, Zolthard still has a school to run, and Norman still a life to live and homework to hand in!
