Children Of The Holy Judge

A very special experimental multiform show based on world poetry – an evocative entertaining work in voice, song and dance, with immersive video. It seeks a language for the earth. This work starts with the premise that the sighting of earth from space, commencing with Apollo 8 in 1968, offered a fresh sense of wonder at the created order, something that contemporary society desperately needed. Do we even have a language for perceiving and valuing the earth as a whole? How do we retain that gift of modern wonder with endless wars? The show reaches to the poetry of modern writers and early cultures for an answer.
