World Class Chamber Concerts November 2015
The Saturday 21 November 7pm concert at Sydney Grammar and Sunday 22 November 2pm spring treat at Knox Grammar in Wahroonga boast a galaxy of stars.
Among them are German violinist and concertmaster of legendary Belgian ensemble Anima Eterna, Jakob Lehmann & Europe-based Australian historical flautist Kate Clark and historical bassoonist Lisa Goldberg.
The two concerts will showcase Beethoven’s wondrous septet, a gem from Rossini and introduce Lachner, a contemporary and friend of Schubert.
This specially designed and unique program, offering the opportunity to hear these rarely-performed works in two intimate Historically Informed concerts, will again fulfill the orchestra’s motto: “Inspire, Educate, Enlighten”.
