ELODIE SABLIER CD launch Vertigo
After many years performing some of the finest Classical pieces and composing music in traditional form, French pianist Elodie Sablier was in search for more personal expression in her music. Through her involvement with the Sydney jazz and improvised music scene, she found many exciting directions for her music - perhaps best described as a classical crossover style.

The result is a stunning new Album, Vertigo. Sincere and endowed with technique from the best French Conservatoires, Elodie delivers a touching rounded music, exploring the frontiers of Classical. Her contemplative compositions are inspired from her roots from Provence and her new life in Australia.

With pianists such as Sydney's own Matt McMahon and living legends Keith Jarrett and Brad Mehldau named as influences, Sablier also cites jazzmen from the European scene such as young Tigran Hamasyan in addition to her staples, Erroll Garner and Bill Evans.

Blessed with technique from the best French Conservatoires, and with the influence of several years on the Sydney jazz and alternative music scene, Elodie delivers a touching honesty in her sound that pushes the boundaries of classical music in her own inimitable style.

There is no doubt her music will transport you into a ravishing - indeed, heady and enchanting - world, as promised by the title itself, Vertigo.

Train Rides with Thomas the Tank & Friends
RIDES:

At The Train Shed, you can ride with:
- Thomas The Tank Engine, and his carriages Annie & Clarabel
- Toby the Tram Engine, and his carriage Henrietta
- James the Red Engine, and the Green Express Coaches
- Percy the Small Engine, and the Sodor Mail Vans
- Mavis the Quarry Engine, and the Ffarquhar Quarry Wagons, and
- Gordon the Big Engine, and the Red Express Coaches.

The ride takes you across the bridge over the pond, past "Gnome Knoll", "Trevor" and "Crock's Scrapyard", across the bridge again, down around the "Branch Line", through the tunnel and back up to Wellsworth Station.

ATTRACTIONS:
There's more than just Train Rides at The Train Shed!

Inside the Thomas Shop, children (and adults who refuse to grow up) can drive the Model Train Layout all by themselves, taking Thomas, Toby, James or Percy on a tour of the Isle of Sodor, making up their own
"Thomas" stories while they play.

When you arrive at The Train Shed, you simply can't miss our Sydney Suburban Double-Decker Carriage - yes, it's a real one! Many parents may remember travelling on carriages like these when they were younger.

The double-pass is for two children and gives each child 4 train rides.

Free Admission
Open Every Saturday & Sunday all year.
10am - 4pm

Train Rides on Thomas, Toby, James, Percy, Mavis & Gordon.
(If the child is 2 years or under, the child can take a Free Adult with them.)

There's a Kiosk, or bring a picnic.
