One man and five women play multiple characters in the Australian premiere of this new American play.

14 celebrated writers, in a montage of monologues, ,playlets and fugues, give us all the fun of those broken nights, or of being the mom in the park with the bad kid, or of same sex parenting, or of interracial adoption, or the (two-way) embarrassment of teenagers.

After a huge and long awaited Foundry 616 debut in January, the star studded 9 piece ensemble 'Mingus Amongst Us' returns to thrill Sydney audiences. And best of all, you can hear them regularly as Foundry616 is now their new monthly residency spot, 3rd Wednesday of each month.

With some of the biggest names in Australian jazz paying tribute to the unique, bluesy and highly energetic music of legendary bassist and composer Charles Mingus, this is a spectacular night of jazz at its best.

Three and Under is a program of intriguing miniatures for flute, clarinet and percussion
Three and Under is a program of intriguing miniatures for flute, clarinet and percussion showcasing the members of Ensemble Offspring as theatrical soloists and chamber music gurus. They perform works written specifically for them by composers from home (Damian Barbeler, Jane Stanley and Matthew Shlomowitz) and abroad (Oscar Bettison, Jukka Tiensuu, Tom Johnson and David Lang).

This engaging show features an array of surprising musical gems written within our lifetime, including a re-staging of Matthew Shlomowitz’s popular 'Letter Piece' which combines physical actions with text and sounds in what has been described as arty farty charades and a 'Counting Duet' by Tom Johnson shows us that music is actually about numbers not letters!

Experience an outstanding music trio
The Reservoir Trio launch their 2014 season with a programme featuring Mendelssohn’s tremendously expressive and exhilarating First Piano Trio.

The ensemble (formed in 2013) comprises of Ursula Nelius (violin), Paul Stender (‘cello) and Chris Cartner (piano), and they have already been highly acclaimed for both their sensitive and passionate playing.

Recently appointed ‘Ensemble in Residence’ at St Andrew’s College (Sydney University), they will present a 2014 season of thrilling chamber music.

This first programme will also include Percy Grainger’s exquisite tribute to Australia, his Colonial Song, as well as sultry music by Argentinian tango composer Astor Piazzolla.
